Kennedy is definitely digging himself into a hole. Tony saying that Adam's decision to not show up for WWU was a "mistake" definitely shows that TLR is not happy... and we all know that you don't want to be on Tony's bad side.
I just read the TLR comment on Rolen... "mistakes" must be the theme of the day! I agree with Tony and Scott did make a mistake, which is bad for him and bad for us fans who liked Rolen so much.
Heavens no, don't get on LaRussa's bad side. You may never see the field again.
And I'd like to know what Tony thinks of as Rolen's mistake. To ask to leave what he thought was an intolerable situation? Rolen would have stayed if Tony hadn't returned. It's not that he didn't realize that St. Louis was a great place, he just couldn't stomach Tony anymore.
Proverbs 21:9 says "Better to live on the corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife." I think the same sentiment applies in this situation as well.
Scott really put Tony on life tilt. He has been very curmudgeonly lately.
