Happy Flight: The Songs

Sometimes Twitter can really be trouble.

It started with an innocent remark by Christine Coleman, "Don't stop believing."  When I commented that the Blues would be perturbed if the Cards took that song, she said it's too bad that there's no song called "Happy Flight".

Blast it, you put a possible song parody in my path and I'm not going to get anything done for a while.

For reference, you've got Don't Want To Miss A Mang, you have Batista, you have (Not) Smooth, all from this year.  Also in the collection is the poem Pujols At The Bat and the Christmas outings of Twas The Night Before Christmas and A Cardinal Christmas Carol.  Anyway, I've got two different songs for you this time, but we'll give them both the same title.  Hope you enjoy at least one of them!

October was only true in fairy tales 
Meant for someone else but not for me. 
Tony was out to get me

Disappointment haunted all my dreams. 

Thanks to the Braves, now I'm a believer

I thought the race was more or less a given thing, 
But the more the Braves gave, the more we got. 
Marmol threw the wild pitch
