Not Smooth

I know that 11:00 on a Friday night kicking off a holiday weekend is the absolute best time to drop a post that you want people to read, but I finally got a chance to finish this up and didn't necessarily want to wait to get it out there.  I know the Cards didn't have any defensive issues tonight as they take the game from the Rockies 10-3, but as we all know that hasn't been the case most of the year.

So, from the same strange and off-beat portion of my mind that gave you I Don't Want To Miss A Mang and Batista comes a takeoff on Carlos Santana's well-known song.  I give to you, Not Smooth.

They're botching grounders in the midday sun 
I hear them whispering the words "scoring more runs" 
But who do they fool?

There's no reason this season, no fielding groove
